Those bastages are real quiet about what they do.

Not that difficult to discern,  but honestly it isn't critically important.

What does the paper/steel say?

Both mine shoot well enough to remind me that I suck.

As to your first question, my newly purchased 12" Stealth 5.56 barrel is conventionally rifled, rather than polygonal. No need to blow smoke there.

As for the manufacturing process, I guess they aren't telling.

ETA: I will say this though. I imagine if they aren't button pressed or some other proprietary magical speedy process, then Mark may have resorted to prison labor to keep costs down.

On somewhat good authority, I have been told all LaRue barrels are born here

Thanks for the info.  I just received an 18" Stealth. It is going on my first build.  I am looking forward to putting it together.

I stopped posting details after watching how unsavory competitors twist anything said to their advantage.
Take barrels for instance, if I said we held our bores to 50 millionths, an unsavory competitor's brother-in-law would copy and say he knows for a fact that XYZ barrel company holds their tolerances to 25 millionths ... "one-half of LaRue's sloppy published tolerancing"

Sloppy indeed...

May as well just make em all smoothbores...
