My first RRA.. bought it from a buddy and don't know *exactly* which model I've got.. it's got an m4 contour barrel but flat-topped with a rail on the gas block.
I added the SureFire quad rail, the ZEISS Conquest scope and assorted goodies. That CAA stock kinda sucks, it was on there when I got it and it's GOT to go

Going on 3+ months waiting for Remington to get this taken care of. They wanted to give me a Bushmaster Patrolman for a replacement. Told them no thanks and I wanted a RRA again. Told them to order me an Elite Operator2 to replace my old one. We will see if they did it or not. |

Man that sucks. I had the same thing happend to me this fall. Scared the crap out of me. It split the bolt right down the middle which then seaized, blew out the mag and sent the remaining rounds flying. It was not rem ammo . I won't name the brand because they took care of me. No questions asked. they sent me a check for $1300 to replace the gun, mag and all the ammo I hadn't shot yet. I ordered my RRA tactical operator2 today. They say it wil be here in 30 days. Can't wait. If i knew how to post pics I would.

My P-Mag blew out the bottom and scattered rounds everywhere. About 10 minutes later one of the other guys shooting with us had his Bushmaster blow out also. It blew the bottom plate out of his USGI mag and sides out almost to a circle. We thought things would be smoother with two rifles destroyed, but unfortunately have got some run around and slow response. The first direct contact I had was two months after the fact and that was when they called to tell me they had ordered me a Bushmaster Patrolman and it was in and ready for me to drive 80 miles to pick it up. I told them I never agreed to take that as a replacement and they swore my Lt. had said I would. Took them a few more weeks to get the order in. I wish I could say the same thing about them taking care of me without any problems. That is why I took 3 months to even put out anything about the incident to the public. Then the rep told the other gun owner that this was not the first time they had something like this happen. I can't wait to get my gun in so I can go play and get this headache behind me. ––-One thing I had noticed with the ammo as I loaded it was a couple of the rounds had primers that looked different. I don't know if that was the cause, but something to look out for. It concerned me when I first saw it, but trusted the brand and it came from a sealed case and box. rock river entry with chrome lined barrel Aimpoint in a larue mount Tango down grip Surefire400c in larue mount I cut the ugly detachable carrying handle that came with it for a back up iron MOE furniture I plan on Geissle SSa-e (i think) trigger upgrade some kns pins and then a LMT improved bolt

This rifle runs great, i also put a daniel defense free float and a magpul sling and swivel, i had some problems with the rifle when i got it and was pissed. But i havent had a problem with any other type of ammo. Just some Guat ss109
sitting around 3000+ rounds right now

Range Report: I fired about 100 rounds total with Zero Issues 
Did well with the 40 and 50 V-Max and also shows promise with the Sierra 63 SMP. I really want to try some Sierra Game King 65 SBT, but can't find them. First the 50 V-Max load: This is a load I worked up a seveal years ago for my Mini-14, and I still have a couple boxes loaded up from then, so I desided just to give some a try. 
Next the 40 V-Max load: As you can see I pulled a shot, that flyer was all me 
Next a New Bullet & Powder for me. The Sierra 63 SMP, this is a Regular soft point flat base bullet. This shows promise
