That a Colt CM901 was used to deliver justice to UBL.

The person who runs that web site is retired military.

You had to go and do it didn't ya...

Now how fast do you think those will sell out.

Next some one needs to post the physical standards for entrance into election for the different Spec Ops units

Local DFW radio (1080 am) reported it was a Sig226 that was used to kill the scum...any way, GOOD SHOOT!

America has the best Special Ops in the world and it was an operator in one of those best units that killed the scum.  The rifle (or pistol?) was a means to an end, a tool.

i have heard this to

As much as I love Colt, I'd say that it was definitely German engineering of some sort, and a 70% chance that it was a flavor of HK.

I laugh out loud every time I see that pic. I've been having a fairly shitty day-thanks for turning that around

Here's another one of my personal favorites:

What would account for 'German' and the remaining 30%?

A Sig pistol of some sort- may be made in the U.S. now, but I'd still consider it to be German engineering in the design.

DEVGRU has been seen with HK416s for years now and I believe they're the only ones in SOCOM carrying them so chances are pretty good it was a 416.

Should have been an American rifle, but oh well.

Personally I would have preferred a Louisville Slugger......but a 416 will do just fine.

Might seem gross, but I wonder if they retrieved the bullet out of UBL's body? Be kind of a cool keep sake.

Wonder if the rifle itself due to its now historic significance will be brought back to the US to be put in a museum?  I mean we never could retrieve the Walther Hilter used to off himself, but I'm sure if we did it would be in the Smithsonian or something. They need to get that HK416, if that's what it was, and replace it with a new one taking the HK416 that was used back to the US for preservation.

Heard from local media also that it was an HK416.  I remember seeing that Wilcox Industries is manufacturing the 416 line here in the states
for HK and Wilcox is pretty tight with Devgru.

If LAV says it- then it's good enough for me.

He's not exactly in love with HK- despite his previous working relationship with them.  He's also certainly got the contacts to find out such information directly.

I personally don't care if it was a Raven .25ACP- it's done.

i dont care what it was either.  my point is unless the guy who did it or his buddy tell s what it was i just aint gonna believe  what I hear  even if it is LAV all respect due to him and BTW   I am not one of his bashers just to be clear. but Larry still pushes the hell outta the 416 on face book at times. which is his right.

I guess I am just too jaded anymore from hearing so much internet BS.    if i had to guess I still would have guesses SCAR or something. but  I guess I will go along on popular theory on this one cause we will never know from the guy who did it.   very cool to me it was a 556 round.    would love to know if it was something as mundane as M855 or something cool like   556 optimized brown tip

I heard it was an HK416 with a 22LR ciener kit... And don't question it! I have strong connections yo!
