So - What cool shit are we going to see from Shot that won't be availible till 2013?

Waiting on the LAR-8 Mags and the LAR-40..................

Manufacturer tells me I should have polymer 20rd LAR-8 mags in hand by/at SHOT.
Should also have the latest generation of LAR-40 mags there as well.  It's kind of frustrating to have a fully functional rifle for two+ years only to wait on the mag for it....
Don't know about the 2013 part...I think everyhing in the catalog is already available or should be within acouple onths (no promises, but I don't remember anything in it that should be significantly delayed at this point).

Steve I imagine you get a little tired of these people bustin your balls about time lines.

I am sure they would sing a different tune if they ever tried to do anything like RRA does in the manufacturing business.

Problem with time lines is you can only control what YOU can control, when the subcontractors don't keep their promised time lines it skews everything.
Most all subcontractors seem to quote time lines that they can't keep.
I am sure at the time they quote the time line they assume they will meet it but we all know about what happens when people ass-u-me.

Keep up the good work!!!! Lookin forward to the new products whether that is in 2011 or 2013

An hour and a half before the stampede begins.    Lay the new Magazine down and step away.

That was three days ago.  Nothing interesting from RRA?

It would be nice if somebody who was at the RRA SHOT Show booth made a report here.

I was there, but I'm kinda biased:

243 LAR-8 uppers
7mm-08 LAR-8 uppers
tri-rails for the PDS pistol and carbine
(not so excited about) pink furniturethe PDS SBR hat was getting FFed so much we literally had to assign someone to keep tracvk of it specifically throughout the day, everyday
204 LAR-15 uppers
reintorduction of multiple RRA-made 1911 parts (inthe catalog, not on display)
For those who asked, the prototype 40 and 308 mags

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, but those are someof the highlights.

What kind of wait can I expect on my .243 upper?

Honestly, 2-8 weeks, depending on where yours comes up in the order line-up.  We ddidn't get a giant quantity of barrels initially, so if yours comes up as one of the first, it can probably be covered by the initial delivery.  If not, it will have to come from a subsequent batch.

How about .260?

I also noticed the new option on the website to chrome-line the barrels of 6.8SPC uppers... the temptation grows further!

How about a 7-08 Varmint upper with 1-8" twist?  To be utilized with the new SMK 180 gr.
