So, I've seen at least one member on the boards that has an SPR/M4"K", apparently you guys did a very small run of shortened cans near the end? I'm curious as an SPR/M4 owner, what was the overall suppression like? Weight? Length? I'd honeslty be willing to trade off 2" of can at this point to have a shorter overall package for my 12.5" rifle. I have an AEM5 (Ops 12th Model) for my SPR type needs, and would rather see about having the SPR/M4 shortened up than to go through all the rigamaroll right now to buy another can, especially when I'd really need to go .308 before buying another 5.56 can.

So, can AAC shorten an SPR/M4 still?

Never seen one of those. And I've been kicking around for awhile.

Since the SPR/M4 was killed off in 2011 time frame and Remington moved AAC to Huntsville last year I strongly doubt that they have any parts at all that survived that long. Answer will probably be no, but let's see what they say.

Best of luck to you.

There's at least one gent on Arf with the SPR/M4K. And I expected the reply I received, but figured it was worth asking.

Probably a one off back when they used to kind of do whatever they wanted pre Remington days.  Would like to see it though sounds pretty cool.
