I have a question for you. I use my AR for deer hunting, it's a 6.8 flat top Stag with no front sight. I have tried to compare all of the pictures I can find to determine which mount I should go with. With the info. above what would you go with, the low or the high mount.

Personally, I would go with the high mount. That seems to fit my cheek weld the best, front sight or no. Plus, if you ever add a flip front sight you'll be able to use it as a backup.
