[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Scope accessory ring fitting

I recently bought the SAR 3PS scope accessory ring for 30 mm tube.I noticed that the upper ring does not have an optimal fit to the scope tube (it's really tight).

Anyone with the same problem? Would you suggest a lapping precedure to this part?
