Hello,
I am in the market for a scope for my .22lr. My end goal is to use this rifle as a trainer for bigger rifles. The biggest requirement that I have is an AO so I can get used to "dialing in" and I think i would prefer higher magnification like in the 4-12x range. I know that some of the crossfire II scopes have these features, but is the parallax appropriate for the shorter ranges that I would be shooting? My plan is to be shooting from 25 to 200 yards. Thanks for any info! |

Parallax adjustment (AO) is definitely appropriate for the style of shooting you're planning to do. One thing to be careful of- parallax adjustment only allows you to focus the image, not dial out for the bullet's point of impact for the longer shots. The better scopes for that would be the scopes in our line with exposed turrets- Viper HST, Viper PST, Razor HD, etc. Thanks, and please let me know if you have further questions. I would be happy to help. |
