| Theoretically, what if PSA sent a lower to an individual and not their ffl. What would be the solution? |

As much as I'm pissed at PSA, you need to call them first thing in the morning and let them fix this issue and keep it on the down low. Theoretically, of course. ![]() Quoted:

Go to the FFL holder you were using, soon. I would do both of these, this is very very good advice. You do not want the ATF knocking on your door! |
| Are you sure PSA "theoretically" sent it to an individual. A few months back, a friend of mine wanted to build an AR. He ordered all of the parts and had the lower sent to a local FFL. The FFL is only part time and was not in when UPS made the first attempt to deliver. After a failed second attempt, the driver took the package to my friend's house since his name was on the package with the FFL's address. My friend lives near the FFL and they are in the same delivery area with the same driver so he knew who he was. My friend called to say he finally got the lower and it was brought to his house. I told him to immediately call the FFL and let him know what happened. Luckily, he was able to get in contact with him and took it right to the shop to complete the paperwork. |

The UPS driver was in the wrong for knowingly delivering a lower to some place other than the FFL.
As far as PSA, if they did send a lower directly to a customer, the person in the shipping department should be fired and the manager of that department should be written up (at a minimum). That is a tell tale sign of a losely run ship, in my opinion. |

I'll ask our driver when he comes today. |

Had a very similar thing happen to me with a pistol. - new driver was on my FFL's route - attempted delivery like 3 days in a row and kept claiming he couldn't find the place - finally I contacted UPS to have the driver give me the damn package - I took it to the FFL it was supposed to go to in the first place before even opening the box Really isn't a big deal for the end user - more so a big deal for whoever shipped it. People get their FFL's stripped away fast for stuff like that. |

Or that the average person would even know wtf a lower receiver even was if it was staring them in the face? Ok. |

You don't have to know what's inside the package to know where t ship it. If the package had the address and name of the FFL it was goig to as the shipping address, so then, why would it be delivered to any other place than there?
Regardless, as I stated, the bigger issue is the shipping department at PSA. Sorry for the confusion. No need to breakout your COMICON xray glasses. |

Generally speaking, UPS and Fed Ex drivers don't gaf about where it goes. If your name is on the pacakge, 95% of the time they'll release it to you. Can't tell you how many times I've hunted down trucks and got packages off of them without them even asking for my ID to even prove I was who I said I was. All they did was asked me to verify the address. Those guys usually work 10+ hours a day and are usually eager to get a package off the truck at any opportunity they can. |
