I will first state that I am well aware of the current frenzy situation and have no issues with delays in getting shipments out the door.  I just have some questions if anyone has any info on this.

Placed an order online 2/4/13 for items listed as "IN STOCK".  Order placed, email confirmation received.  A couple days pass and I go to my account at Daniel Defense to check order status.  Daniel Defense website lists my order as "Complete" and under shipping it states FedEx 2 Day.  Credit card has been "processed".  I received no follow up email stating that items have been shipped or a tracking number.  I have attempted to email Daniel Defense twice and tried calling once without response.  I am trying to figure out if the items were indeed shipped or does DD send an email stating that items have shipped and a tracking number?  Does the account also get updated with items "SHIPPED" and a tracking number?  My concern is that FedEx is famous for leaving items "at the door" around here even when a signature is required and I am concerned over the possibility that these items "walked off".  

Anyone with any info here on DD and their process would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering the same thing.  I placed an order for an in stock barrel directly from Daniel Defense on 1/26.  The order has been in "complete" status for 1.5 weeks.  I've sent emails with no response.  I called twice on Friday but was placed on hold both times and had to hang up before they could answer my call.

These are unique times but after two weeks I would like to know if the "in stock" barrel is actually in stock and will be shipped.  I live in Georgia so in route shipping time should be at a minimum.

Here's what I've read in other posts....
People have received orders before getting a shipping notice.  Based on what I read the best thing to do to find out order status is call and wait on hold.  Other people are able to get through to DD...sometimes after a 40 minute wait.  Good news is other people report great customer service once they get somebody on phone.   If I get somebody on the phone I'll ask about their process and report back.

Update: Called DD a few minutes ago (Monday afternoon) and after going through their automated phone system someone in customer service picked up on the 3rd ring.  Forgot their name...was amazed I didn't have to wait on hold.  He was very helpful and said my order shipped this morning.   As background I ordered an in stock barrel on 1/26 so based on my experience they are taking about 2 weeks to ship in stock parts (maybe a little less since the 26th was a Saturday).

Here is my current experience with DD:

I ordered a DDM4 from them on 1/3/13.  

I received a FedEx tracking number from them this past Friday morning (2/10/13).  It shows shipped and the tracking page at FedEx is being updated as to where it is. Show expected delivery date and everything.  

My status on the DD website says still says "Pending".  


Calling them is definitley hit and miss right now....with the result definitley being a miss most of the time for me.  But I would call back and talk to someone.  I had to call several times daily for a few days before anyone picked up.  

Anyway, this has just been my recent experience though.

Mine is the same way. Ordered 1/28. Complete 1/30, yet no shipping/tracking numbers yet. I called last Monday (2/4/) and talked to someone, they said I should see it in a couple days, from then. Still don't have anything yet.

I'm away from my home this week, so if I don't get anything byt the time I get back next Sunday, I'll try calling next week again.

Similar story here.  Ordered an in-stock handguard back in early January.  Credit card is charged the day after I order, website says order is 'complete' - but no shipping info, email confirmation, nothing.  After a full month went by with no delivery I tried multiple emails, phone calls, etc.  Finally gutted it out and waited on hold for 55 minutes at which point a customer service representative tells me he has to transfer me to another party.  Transfer went directly to voice mail.  Left another message which was also not returned.  Finally gave up and had my credit card company dispute the charge.  Really good products, really poor customer service.

Ordered the same item from Brownells and had it on my doorstep in 4 days.  Lesson learned.
