I placed an order a few days ago, and on the website it's showing "processing", however my cc was charged shortly after the order.  Does it take some time before items/packages are shipped?

Please advise, thanks.

Sorry PSA, your IM is full!

Order # 100001341

I have another order # as well, but that was placed last night.

Thanks coltguy ... yeah, wish I had checked here before placing the order, I've had nothing but good transactions with PSA previously.  But don't know what's going on now???

Im also in a similar situation. Made an order on Tuesday for instock parts and accessories. We'll see if the order status changes tomorrow. I am sure they are absolutely swamped with orders.

AROptimus, from your experience, how long after placing an order did it ship?

I was in the same boat last week. I havent checked the forums for a while and have had good sevice with PSA in the past. ordered on tuesday then found the thread on Friday. I have to take them at their word that they are extremly busy. they are replying to post in the thread and even IM'd me with correct tracking #'s. Mine showed up wed. As I look around there alot of places that sold out of alot of things (AIM). People seem to be on a buying spree right now.

Hope this helps

orders are up almost 1,000% it is like the internet just discovered us. We have hired over 20 people in the last month and are still scrambling. We are making a major push for infrastructure upgrades to deal with this. We now get about 800 calls per day and 1,000 e-mails per day. We are doing the best we can and pushing forward. We are hiring everyone we can get that passes a background check.

I'm in the same situation with similiar order placed time, looks like business is very good for PSA.

I think there are alot of peoples orders ahead of our order time though, and PSA is probably trying to get them taken care of first.

I do think they should update there website and update there "normal shipping time", as it would avoid people wondering where there parts are at and slow down the inbound calls with customers looking for an update.

100001341 ––Contacted you on the other thread about this order and the other order, we have you taken care of.

I can tell our IT manager that we need to move the days up a bit.

I am rallying the troops to come in on their off day to pack some orders so we can get caught up with our posted lead times.

We also have a few people that are lined up to come in when their 2 weeks notice ends at their other place of employment.  I hope all these things can get us back up to speed.

@74grabber––If you post your order number on the where's my order thread I can take a look at it for you. *reason I ask to put it there is mainly for my convenience because I try and check that the most*

Have a good weekend

This.  Meeting customer expectation is huge.  If the website said something like "due to increased volume, orders are currently being shipped in 5-7 days", customers that ordered anyway would still be happy if their order was shipped after a week.  They'd be really happy if that expectation was exceeded.   Now, we're seeing the flip side of that.

My order has been processing since Monday.  So far, it isn't causing a problem, but, as a first time customer, its a little disappointing.

I've been a staunch defender of PSA up until now.  With the new website I was very pleased and complimented PSA for listening to customer feedback with regard to sending out a UPS tracking number and then having the order sit there for days and days.  Unfortunately this has not been addressed.  I placed a small order for two in stock items on the 10th. Credit card was charged that day.  UPS tracking number generated on the 13th.  Order still has not shipped.

In the internet age when our buying expectations are shaped by the likes of Midway USA and Aim Surplus who ship same day when an order is placed in the morning, PSA is going to struggle to live down the reputation of being slow and not responsive.  If you notice, when anyone actually gets in contact with PSA personnel, the service is outstanding. When PSA has a problem, they own it and solve it without question.

Come on PSA............ you are soooo close to going from "Good" to "Great"!!!

And yes I did post my order number in the other thread.
