| Anyone have a Vortex red dot on a slug gun? I currently have an Eotech which is awesome but I don't like the high objective of the setup. The Eotech has the buttons more less on bottom of the lens and this makes it kind of a high mount on a cantilever Weaver style mount. Want to switch out to a red dot by next winter. What kind of mount set up would I be looking at? Can these red dots handle repeated blows from a 12ga slug? Which model would be suggested? Thanks. |
| I'm in the process of ordering a cantilevered slug barrel with the full intention of putting a Sparc on it. From my theorizing it'd be a perfect reflex optic for hunting. Rugged for all intensive purposes and priced just right. I'm looking forward to it. Kudos to Vortex for creating this little fella. |
