| Now if those new lightrigid barrels aren't fancy I don't know what is! I was surprised to see such a light profile but I know you folks know your stuff. What kind of accuracy are you all getting from these barrels and what's your opinion on barrel thickness in regards to accuracy/consistency? Thanks! |

Only thing I know is that they make them 100%. Rifling and everything.
They are not purchased and re-profiled from generic blanks. I held one of their 3.9lb complete rifles in my hand today, and it is light as a feather. They are going for TOP QUALITY on these barrels. |

Apologies for the late reply. Been really busy around here. On the new 14.5" & 16" Ultramatch LIGHTRIGID™ 416R Stainless Steel .223 Wylde Fluted Lightweight Barrels, we developed them as part of the complete Lightweight Rifle Solution. We are getting sub MOA with non-match ammo and with match ammo we are getting dime sized groups at 100 yards. We are working our way around the entire rifle to redesign every single component from the ground up to make them lighter while maintaining strength (sometimes stronger than original USGI light our BAD-EPS-Ti Titanium Pin Set) and reliability. We call these barrels LIGHTRIGID™ as it is not a pencil barrel profile. It is a hybrid profile with fluting to strike a balance between accuracy of a thicker, more rigid barrel and weight savings. It is double heat treat stress relieved, cryogenically treated and manufactured with our own unique proprietary process. Similar match barrel with fluting are in the $700 range. | George, are you guys planning on an 18" lightrigid barrel? I'm looking for something to replace a barrel I have from another high end manufacturer. Very interested in these, but I haven't pulled the trigger (pun intended) because I'd prefer an 18". It would be a perfect match for my BAD 15 lower. ;) |

We can do a 18" no problem. There are simply too many different variations. It is hard for us to stock and make every version. Shoot us an email (sales@<website>) with the request and we will create a wish list and have it made next time we run the barrels. |
