I have a new Stealth 18" upper on a billet lower.  I am looking for scope recomendations.  I like the looks of both the NF 2.5-1- X 32 and the 3.5-15 X 50.  I don't mind spending the money, but do not want to make an expensive mistake.  I will most likely not ever shoot farther than 500 yards.  Would the 3.5-15 be too much if I wanted to plink at say 100 yards?  What does everyone run on their Stealths?  Thanks

I say get the most magnification you can afford, nothing wrong with some extra magnification unless you are talking about CQB... I would say out of the 2 you mentioned the 3.5-15 would be your best bet...

I will be swapping between a;
6-18X40 redfield for 350 yards out to 600yards +
and
a 1-4X24 Burris XTR for 7 yards out to 350yards

I am also very interested in the new March 1-10X24 scope coming out in june, if it gets good reviews I will have one for my birthday in jan...

15X is definately not too much!   I shoot the NF 5.5-22X and it is not too much for plinking at 100 yards.   Just because you have the option for that much magnification doesn't mean you have to use it all.   I rarely go above 12X on my scope, but should I really want to get in tight to zero in on a pigs ear hole, it sure is nice to have the extra.

I have a 20" Stealth w/ a NF 2.5x10x24 that works great at the distances you are talking about. Of course that being said the 2.5x10x32 is (to my virgin, never looked through anything but a Simmons white tail scope as a child, eyes) a little brighter in the evening & early morning hours. Most of my shooting is done in normal daylight so I went with the 24 & bought more practice ammo. Anyways this is just my experience & opinion for what its worth...

Do you have a pic of your setup?  I have a 20" and was debating on either the 24 or the 32 NF... Right now I'm leaning toward the 32...
