Ordered a Texas spec BCG from LaRue (along with a tee and some water bottles).  When I unwrapped it, Its sticky.  What should I clean it with,  Regular CLP or will a stonger solution be needed, something like a sticker remover such as "oops off"?  It feels like a sucker I pulled out of my 7yr old sons mouth......

Hose it down with non-chloronated brake parts cleaner and then oil it up real good.

I got some 'TW25B, Lubricant/Protectant, Light Grease' with my OBR.

Directions with that say to use 91% rubbing alcohol, < $2.00 at WW.

Make sure you soak it real good with some kind of lubricant, brake parts cleaner removes all the oil.

I use Machine Gunners Lube or Mobile 1.
