I have a pretty bad grape cluster issue. I've heard there was a fix for this.
Is there something I can do no my own, or do I need to call? |

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your strikefire. Sometimes this phenomena is caused by an astygmatism in the user's eye but if you have already ruled that out, please give a call to customer care 800-426-0048 Ext. 4. They will get you taken care of. Thank you for your support. |

Just an FYI, you can have 20/20 and still have astigmatism. Astigmatism is actually pretty common and a common cause of the "grape cluster" phenomenon in red dots. Aimpoint's website even talks about it. That's not to say this is causing your issue, but it's something to check. You can check this by: 1. Photographing the dot and seeing if it looks like the "grape cluster" or not. Sometimes it's difficult to do this. 2. Rotate the sight and see if the "grape cluster" rotates with the sight or not. If it rotates with the sight, then it's the sight. If it doesn't rotate it's your eyes and probably astigmatism. Otherwise we can always check it here too if you just want to send it back. Whatever the case, we will take care of it. |
