I am trying to understand what you are asking? Do you mean the quick detach mount? Quoted:

Do the Steiner weapon lights have a double tap latching mechanism. Like the dbal. My assumption is he meant to button instead of latch meaning if you tap the light twice, will it stay on. |

Will there be a constant on (double tap style) for surefire scout lights? Yes Sir. Who's palm you gotta grease to get on the pre-order list? Lol...We'll make that announcement as well when we're ready to open the can of grease! |

Especially with better cable management. |

I believe they said it would in an earlier thread. Quoted:

Will the t.a.p.s. make it possible to use the visible override feature on the dbal-a3 when using a surefire light? I believe they said it would in an earlier thread. Yes Sir, that is correct. |

Would this be skinny enough to fit between the 12 and 9 o'clock rails on a DD RIS II? 1 7/8ths Not trying to tell you guys what to do, but with the proliferation of the Mk18/CQBR setup (which means DD RIS II) in the military (also the biggest user of NVG and IR Laser devices), this is something that needs to be worked into your design. FWIW, my only DD product is a weapons light mount. |

Soldier Systems Update from SHOT '17
Looks like they are expected to hit the website next week. Two versions, Pro version that is programmable and costs $239 and a non-programmable version for $139. Very step prices but I'm sure I'll end up with at least 2 of the Pro's since I want to be able to fire both the laser and the light with 1 button press.
