I purchased several TX-4 LED Heads and a matching number of converters for use on my rifles from you guys back in July. A few weeks ago I was at a Larry Vickers carbine class and it worked great on the night shoot portion of day 1. On day 2 we got hit with some heavy rain and since then I hadn't used the light. I tried to use it this morning and it won't turn on at all. I replaced the batteries with a fresh set and it still wouldn't work. Being curious if it was the switch, batteries, or light body, I swapped a different TX-4 LED head and converter from one of my other lights onto that light and it worked fine. Putting the problematic head and converter onto the other light body still did not work. I tried checking and making sure the springs and the adapter inside the converter were inserted correctly and as far as I can tell there was nothing wrong with it, it just won't turn on. Does using this new head and converter make the light any less water proof? How about oil proof? ^ I had emailed the above to you guys a couple hours ago but thought I'd post here to see if anyone else was having this problem or if I'm alone. But then... I also noticed upon disassembling it again that the LED assembly has actually unscrewed from the TX-4 head! ![]() I didn't think it was supposed to do that... After screwing that back in, it still does not work. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. |

Some more info: -About 1500 rounds through the gun with the light mounted on it. -Was through some rain and there was some oil that got sprayed on the light but the head, converter, and tailcap were all screwed on well past the o-rings so none of that should have gotten through. |
