ADCO, I have a suppressor mount for my 30 cal suppressor.
Problem is, my mount was made for an AK and has 14mm RH threads.
I wanted to see if you can tap it for 5/8 x 24 so I can use it on my Savage .308.
I'm not sure if the steel is hardened or not. Lets assume it is.

Sorry, answered this in another thread.

I talked to the Shop, we will not attempt it, since suppressor mounts are so hard, it is nearly impossible to get good threads, basically ruining the mount. So, sorry, can't do it.
