I have $600 to spend on a scope, and I am looking for opinions. I have looked at weavers, nikons, Zeiss, IOR etc, and they all look good. I would love a 30mm tube, and target turrets. I need more that a 10x scope. I am thinking the minimum would be 15x. And I want to order it ASAP. Help if ya can Thanks, Austin |

Beware of the Springfields. I have read several stories about their reliability. I own a Burris Black Diamond 3x12 that I bought from SWFA a few years ago and I can't say anything negative about it. I have mounted it on several rifles including a 700 sporter 300 ultra mag that kicked like all hell and it still performs flawlesly. If you can spare an extra 100 dollars go with the big IOR Valdada 4-14.5 x56 Tactical. You get Zeiss Quality with all the options you requested. I have seen them at the gun shows for aroung 699.00. I think that Swfa will cary them soon. I hope so anyway.Top quality glass. Maybe Chris can tell us when he will be in stock if he reads this post. |
