Never even heard of that brand.  Now.. A Costa Wilson or Brown might bring in that kind of cash.  Not from me though.

pretty sure the RMR'd, slide serrated M&P that will soon bear his name will be around that price too. All he needs now is a three thousand dollar shotgun lol.

There are lots of 1911 guys that have never heard of LT.  It's just what you are in to.

The way it was explained to me, Nighthawk was formed by smiths that left Wilson. I have several 1911s, including Wilson, Brown, and Nighthawk. Nighthawk is every bit a nice as the others.  Since Costa seems to carry a S&W M&P, this seems more like a licensing deal than anything else.  There are a few other models from Nighthawk I would rather have.

With as much as Costa preaches using a tac light you'd figure his 1911 would have a rail.

I'd take a TRP or 3 in this case, any day of the week over that Nighthawk!

The TRPs are great "bang for the buck" pistols.  Probably the best deal out there.  It doesn't stack up against a hand-tuned custom, but it's not meant to.

put the grips from the non rail on the rail and that would be one sexy looking 1911. Is it double stacked?
