Hello all,

Must know I use our forum to talk about of products and refrain from general discussion topics but an incident occurred since it involved our resting place of our brave men and women in uniform, I had to throw it out here.

Approx 2 weeks ago I attended a theater production with Mrs. Di Cosola (yes that is right, I do my duty and attend these drama scenes by sitting quietly and act like I am enjoying the event....Sure hope the "Minister of Finance" does not read this! ) Anyways, during intermission of the production, the 4 seats directly in front of us that were remarkably not taken in the 3rd row were empty giving us a clear unobstructed view of the stage.  It did not last long as 2 females in their late 20's sat down in the seats and decided to toss my wife's shaw aside like it was a oily rag!  That was the 1st strike. (I did not say anything).   I politely picked my wifes shaw up off the ground (she was at the rest room).  The 2nd strike came next, when the 2 females began talking very loudly and laughing about how they love "hoping seats" to get better ones, and who needs to pay for them. (I still bit my tongue).  2 minutes later, the 3rd and final strike....(My silence ended)  The one female starts up a conversation about how she went to the San Francisco Military Cemetery and is getting together a protest group to travel there in the next few months and dress up in bloody cammo clothes to stage a protest.  It was going to be a "good event" according to this female. My blood pressure (which is usually very low, went to orbit).  My wife then showed up when I blurted, ( a bit louder than normal), "sorry honey, we cannot see any longer since a few folks do not like to pay for their real seats. After about a minute, the one vocal female got up with her friend and moved over 2 seats to the right and turned to me and stated, "you happy now, it's only a head." Immediately, my wife grabbed my arm as I started to rise when I blurted, "maybe you should pay for the seats you originally purchased."  The reply back was "maybe your should shut your mouth."   My final LOUD comment to this gem before she and her friend were escorted out from the theater was a comment that consisted with "the very air you breath to talk crap (I used another word) about that military Cemetery you're going to war protest is due to their sacrifice, I hope you understand that!"  After a few more choice words from this female, and a few claps around me that were in ear shot of my vocal procession, I had these two females removed from the theater. The usher and production manager (I found out later) were VERY happy to remove these two.

Either way, I want to remind everyone how much I feel for all our brave men in uniform in cammo and blue and will NOT EVER stand idly by as some who want to overlook where and how our freedoms were born. This post here is NOT about me, I am just utterly shocked what these two spoke about the hallowed ground of our fallen heroes!  Sure glad my wife held me down sorta speak, it could have been MUCH worse.    Guess my first rant ever here on the ARFCOM is over for now, but I am still pretty PO'd about the incident. <shaking my head>.

Perhapse I have some growing up to do, but had it been me not you, and had they been male instead of female I would have pushed them as hard as I could to get them to throw the first punch with a witness or 2 around. People like that disgust me.

Wish more people would do what you did. Too many people sit by idly while people do that sort of thing.

Thanks guys, I still want to say this is NOTHING about me and hope EVERY person would do what I would...It's all about our men and women in uniform, always has been.  It's been awhile now since this event happened, and the Minister of Finance just told me she received a new season of show tickets in the mail and she cannot wait to go again.....  The things we have to do sometimes as soul mates....
