Agreed on all counts. I like knowing I could definitely get my moneys worth and then some. But it ain't enough for me to get rid of it. I just got it all put together! Added a light and buis set today. Sling swivel, hand stops, and holiday dillos inbound as I type this.

If all goes well I should get to the range this weekend with new rifle and glass. Best ammo will be 75 grain BTHP Hollow Point Prvi Partizan Ammo.
I'm sure I wont out shoot the LaRue shootist with that but it's a start till I get my hands on some good stuff
I'll shoot it side by side with my mrp with 16" stainless. I'll have my own little shoot out

It worked out ok I caught it in time and its in the garage so no damage. I just finished putting the new one in took a HOT shower and drinking a cold one. Tomorrow it looks like I have a date with a new rifle. |

Ok my range report using ok ammo. LaRue vr LMT round 1
Shooting was from bench using my left hand fisted up as a shooting bag " I need to get me some of those bags".
I could not load the bipod as it would just slide forward. Time was limited so I had to zero fast. I zeroed the LaRue at 50 yards using AE xm195 then switched to the privy for final zero. I already had the lmt zeroed with 193 and when I switched to the privy it was shooting low but I just left it there as I just wanted to see how it groped at 100. At 100 the lmt was way low so I adj "the wrong way" and now was not hitting the plate
I finally got it back and only had 4 rounds in the mag and only 2 clean plates up that's why the lmt shot group was only 4. Last plate I loaded 5 rounds in the Larue and shot the last plate in the photo. The flier was the 4th round. If I didn't pull that 4th round I would have beat the test target 3 round. Round 1 goes to the Larue and I think its my new favorite rifle. To be fair I need to find the ammo that groups best for each rifle, and I should have zeroed the lmt at 50 because my error led to frustration that effected my last shots along with a hot barrel. The LaRue did out shoot the LMT at 50 too.
