So I just looked at the new catalog and thank you for making the 2.5-10 PST in a FFP and with side focus parallax! I know what my next scope will be.

Now if it only had the EBR-2B reticle. . . . .

Aah I know, right!? Only time will tell, though. It'd be pretty sweet to see.

What is the projected MSRP for VIPER PST 2.5-10 X 32 FFP?
12/27/2012 6:23:21 AM EDT
[#7]
The MSRP will be $899.00. Most people will be selling it for lower than that, though.

Thanks for letting us know. When do you guys expect it to be available?

Sometime in the Spring is what we are shooting for. Unfortunately, I can't be any more specific than that right now but I would recommend keeping your eye out for it on dealers' websites and ordering as soon as possible because it will probably be on high demand right out of the gate. Thanks again and please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

So what reticle is the new FFP2.5-10 going to get?

This one:

Or this:

It'll be the second one down- the 2.5-10 one.

Sorry, my mistake. The 2.5-10X32 MOA more closely resembles the 2.5-10X42 MOA but the MRAD version of the 2.5-10X32 most closely resembles the 4-16 MRAD reticle. Sorry about the mixup.

No worries, I will let it slide this time.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this scope. It is going on my SPR/DMR AR build.

Saving the 4X compact prismatic optic with the PST reticle for SHOT show? Eh? Eh?

Haha have to wait until SHOT to see what we have going!

I need to add my vote to the possibility of a EBR-2B reticle. I own two Razors with that and love it. What needs to be done to make it happen. Very happy to see a 2.5-10 FFP, I think this may have just repalced a 2.5-10 NF off my lsit as a much more affordable option.

With more features. The FFP is a HUGE bonus. If only dumbass NF could understand that.

The 2.5-10x NF has is nice but for me the SFP vs the FFP is a no brainier. I ran the 2.5-10 in a Magpul Class and I wished that it was FFP and that it had a parralax adjustment. I am concerned that this will take FOREVER to come out like the first set of PST's I was on a waiting list so long that I could not take it anymore. Finally for a 6-24. But that took longer than I really wanted to wait.

I am confident we will see it this year. Most likely around summertime but it will be well worth the wait.

Question to Vortex here. What was the reasoning of changing the rubber magnification ring to an aluminum one? I don't mind either way, just want to know why.
