Stopped in the Cabelas south of Austin yesterday. OMG...their gun racks were full of AR's. I found at least 4 different manufactures with every caliber possible. 308, 5.56, 223, 7.62 and 22 long riffle. If Colt, Bushmaster, Smith & Wesson and Armalight can get parts to build AR's why can't LaRue get parts. I'm sorry but waiting a year w/o any info is just not right. I will keep waiting because I want the best AR made but its time LaRue came forward and tell us what's up. A little communication would go a long way to mend relations between the co and their customers.[/ There is a willful disregard for the concerns of larue supporters and paying customers. I am sad to say that nobody seems to give a shit that you are wanting some communication about the status of a rifle that you have no doubt already 2/3 paid for. J |

PS: Saying you can get a Bushmaster on the shelf in Cabelas doesn't do anything or say anything about Larue. That's like saying "OMG I can buy a Ford Taurus at any Ford dealership, but Ferrari is giving me a wait for an Enzo?! WTF Ferrari?!" If you think they are the same, why are you spending 2 grand or more on your rifle? There are some DPMS and Stag rifles that cost under a grand. I'm not a fanboy, by any means. I don't own any Larue parts yet, but I must say, your argument sucks. Good luck with it though. |

It will get here when it gets here. Did they completely redesign the rifle after you submitted your order? Did they send you a stripped lower and charge you 2/3's the price of your rifle? Did they promise some of the rifles would be shipping in "A few weeks", only to have months pass by? |
