Just smack it real good, it should pop into place Which direction? Previous attempts have only sent the base plate flying. I just used a pair of pliers to squeeze that spring into place. Same problem. The real issue is the limiter isn't returning to position "straight" it's hanging up somewhere and coming up at an angle. |

Quoted: SOLVED. Couple passes in the hole with a round file to open it up and a hard smack and they finally seated. What a pain in the ass that was. But thanks for your help. You shouldn't have had to file but it worked Sometimes you just have to smack it in the base of your hand a couple of times for the tab to seat Glad I could help |

Quoted: Is the limiter made for a curved 20? Pic on the back of the box is showing a straight 20. This is the issue, likely also what you had fitting problems at first. The limiter you have is made for the old gen straight 20rd PMAGs. To get to 5 rounds with a PMAG, you'll either need to track down an old straight 20rd mag and use the limiter you have, or buy a new gen3 10rd PMAG and install the new gen3 -5 limiter. https://www.magpul.com/products/pmag%C2%AE-10-ar-m4-gen-m3%E2%84%A2 https://www.magpul.com/products/minus-5-round-limiter-%E2%80%93-pmag%C2%AE-gen-m3%E2%84%A2-5-56x45--3-pack |
