Does anybody know what forgings Del-Ton uses for their A2 uppers? I called and asked but was told it was information they couldn't give out... OK, company policy is company policy, I get it. Does anybody have a clue? Also, what has been the general consensus on BCG, general fit and finish, etc? Thanks! ( yeah, I'm building another one...)
EDIT; I 'm just curious.... I guess in the end aluminum is like marble, it's not the raw material; it's what the machinist creates from the forging. 2nd EDIT; checked both of my Stags and they both have Cerro Forge ( keyhole ) marks... how about that? I've built both of my guns as I live in the P.R.K. |

so far I've determined that whoever Del-Ton gets their upper receivers from uses Cerro and Brass Aluminum forgings. I'm thinking LAR.
Cerro Fabricated Products Weyers Cave, VA & Brave, PA A keyhole forge mark "Firearms & Safety High quality components to those supplying our Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies is the cornerstone of this market." Brass Aluminum Forging Enterprises LLC Ferndale MI A square forge mark "Military Components" I've been informed that Superior Arms do or have milled their receivers. |
