Just picked up an RRA Coyote upper and really like it. I have one more lower and was looking for a short range varmet rifle.
I saw the Standard upper with the A4 configuration. Now if I put the Hogue free float handgaurd, and vortex flash hider on it as the options allow..... you have what looks just like the Coyote upper for about $200 less. So basically what is the difference between the two if I order those options? |

Not sure where your numbers are coming from, but when I do the math I'm coming up with a six to seven dollar difference on either upper half between buying it as the Coyote UH or building it up as subs/upgrades (Hogue Tube, Gas Block, Vortex) on the basic model (Std A4/CAR A4) upper halves.

No, but on Thursday and Friday they could.
What is so hard about answering the damn question in the first place and not being a twatnozzle in the BS reply? RRA fanboy club card being turned back in. Never mind. I'll go buy from someone who doesn't have a jackass as a spokesman. |

I don't remember being a smart ass to anyone. Sorry I in some way offended you.
There is no real difference in a base rifle with subs and upgrades, and a "package" that represents the same build...we're constantly being told by customers that they're "visual"...they want to see it rather than just imagine it, so we make models that are pre-configured on models that are or have been in higher demand. So a CAR A4 UH, with all of the subs and upgrades to make it a Coyote Carbine UH, is a Coyote Carbine UH...just takes longer to process it through than the model number for the actual 'yote upper.
