If someone had a UBR on backorder, like at AIM Surplus, for instance, how long should he expect to wait before they get some in?  Obviously, this is a purely hypothetical question that is posed without any expectation of anything more than a best-guess answer..

The UBR production pipeline is moving quicker. I would expect to see many more in the market in the coming months.

I wanted the UBR for my next build, but since the pipeline has been a little slow, I will probably end up buying the ACS for my SPR build. Plus I like the way the ACS looked on Stick's rifles.

Would the ACS be sturdy enough for.458 SOCOM?

It looks like "coming months" have arrived.
I wonder how long before Bravo Company sells out.

Can someone tell me what's so special about this  plastic stock that makes it  worth $265? What am I missing? It seems to me that it's priced somewhere between ridiculous and out of your freakin mind.

Its not all plastic...
It just works well...Solid lock up...you could beat a door down with it fully extended and its would be fine...
Good old American craftsmanship and ingenuity...
Worth the  inflated price I payed too

Pretty much all that... + Rock solid adjustible stock with no wiggle, no waggle, no wobble and a consistent cheek weld.

Only negative IMO is that it is heavy.

I don't think a lot of people realize what goes into the UBR stock. Which is understandable seeing as this item has not been available to really get a hands on feel for it. The UBR is 1.25 lbs compared to the .50 CTR lbs. About 70% of this stock is machined from aluminum with a polymer over molding.  The UBR is a great rock solid collapsible stock. In my opinion and experience with it, it is better suited for an SPR/RECCE style setup where you are using a 9" or longer rail system. The UBR provides a perfect counter balance for 12" rail setup but, the UBR is not for everybody.

My UBR backorder from LaRue Tactical arrives tomorrow.  I'll try not to do the happy dance picking it up at the UPS store.

Yep, just grabbed one from there as well...

I got it because my 16"/11" stealth is nose heavy with a CTR on it...I was gonna go with the ACS but it wasn't enough weight to balance out my weapon...This UBR should be perfect!!!!!!!!!!

Glad I have patience, or i would have bought one for 350.00...

Quoted for truth.

The UBR is known internally as the 'When engineers go wild" stock. We threw some insane design requirements at them in terms of functionality and strength and the UBR is the result.
