[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which ACOG mount?

I understand there are two LR mounts available for ACOG but what are the pros/cons of each one, what exactly is the difference?

which acog are you using?

One mounts the optic back a little more for use with the A2 stock, and the other is for flat tops that are in an M4 configuration(collapsable stock).

I use a flattop but also a full size A2 stock. Not a common configuration I suppose.

Possible to see pics of both models, mounted?

flat top with A2 stock, you would benefit from the first one which shows it on the exact set up you have
