Got my TRX Extreme 9" Hand guard in today. I try to mount it on my pistol with a KX3 Flash Suppressor on it and it doesn't go all the way down the hand guard.
For some reason, the milling out of the rounded nubs are all filed down in the front and rear 1/3 of the hand guard. Fitting the KX3. BUT the middle isn't and it gets stopped. I asked for specs on the inner diameter of the tube, and it was correct for the front and back. NOT the center. So I have to remove and add the KX3 with a strap wrench now to get it on and hope it stays. |

just wondering, what do you use a KX3? Are you asking why did I use it or how did I use it. To install the kx3 I had to remove it from the barrel, install the handguard, then hand thread the kx3 on, lastly use a strap wrench on the kx3 itself and tighten. http://www.mccownphoto.com/ar15/Pistol2.jpg sorry, lol typos.... why are you using it? |

I have shot nerxt to a guy with a kx3 on his SBR. and it is much more tolerable. Same goes with being in a carbine class |
