Rails are for mounting things on. If your rail section is in use, it's going to be covered up by whatever you've got mounted on it. If you just want rails to have rails ( ), you probably want to invest in a railed handguard, like a DD Omega or something.
Or so I'd wager, at least. I am a little surprised the illumination kit isn't available in colors, but maybe there's not sufficient demand or something. |

All rail sections are Black since, as mentioned above, they are designed to be mostly covered by an accessory. The only two exceptions to this is we built a handful in FDE as a custom order for an OEM and the rail that comes with the RVG is the same color as the grip itself (they are molded at the same time).
