Is there any way to replace the G11 bayonet interface with a dovetail interface?  Thinking about upgrading my mounting solution, but haven't quite made it past the sticker shock of the G24 yet.

No Sir. The G11 is a contract Army mount made exclusively to use the bayonet style interface with all the existing standard  
J-Arms.
