Is this what I saw in the contest thread!

[#1]
Yep!
1/3/2012 4:19:44 AM EDT
[#2]
Maybe I misunderstood (very possible), but it sounds to me that it is a complete weapon.

I cannibalized all of the nice pink parts out of a Tactical Solutions 22 upper that we have some of here, and stuck them into a PredatAR chassis.

I would be perfectly ok with just a Upper though!

[#4]
No, I would not be disappointed if it was just the upper either. But a complete weapon would be really nice.

What Mark said in one of the other threads on the same topic...

Guys, you're looking at the most over-built 22 there can be on this planet.
Lots and lots and lots of CNC machining have gone into that rascal.

Its in the wording....  ""have gone into that rascal. ""  not these rascals....

I think its a one off.... Not production...

[#8]
But if there is enough interest they will produce them is my understanding.  Apparently this is the giveaway for the contest.

Im pretty sure we will see more in the future, Its so close to SHOT no one is letting anything out of the hat.

Seems to be some confusion ... that 22 is the UHFO giveaway for January.

ETA - well, maybe, as there's only 1,200 or so numbers in the hat so far ...

If that is the case, it would make it an even nicer prize, as if it were not already nice enough.

All you need is 1, my number. I hope my Honey reaches down from heaven and gives you a little 'help' picking the number.

It would be the coolest .22 evar. I wonder if it would cycle subbie .22 rounds?

[#18]
I'm curious...is that a PredatAR barrel or something with a more relaxed twist typical of .22 barrels, like a 1 in 12"?
1/3/2012 3:08:08 PM EDT
[#19]
I would expect it to be a match grade .22 barrel, otherwise it wouldn't be up to LT quality for the build.

I even entered this month.  Looks like I would have to split it if I won.

Making one damn fine 22.

I'm assuming (I know) it's one of these that he cannibalized:

In any event, it should be a damn fine .22.
