| So I may (it's not a done deal) have a chance to buy a RDIAS at a very reasonable price. I have a 6.5" dedicated upper, built by me with an older .22 conversion bolt and a new barrel. It runs like a top in semi auto. Will it run with an auto sear? |

Long answer: You will need extra parts for it to work full auto with your RDIAS - a debounce weight and automatic trip. The old-style weight and trip will work with your CMMG kit, but interfere with the bhoa and fwd assist activator, so you will not have those functions when using the weight and trip. The old-style parts are only currently made by one company (J.A. Ciener), and hard to come by either new or on the secondary, used market. The new Evolution-compatible weight and trip from CMMG aren't available for purchase yet. |
