Seriously, who would not want one? The only quality ones I know of are DPMS and CMMG and there are a few garbage imports. I would love to see PSA get some built by FN or another high quality barrel maker. I can buy a SW MP22 which are nice and accept AR-15 FCGs and PGs, but why spend ~$500 on a complete rifle + ~$200 on a FCG when I could spend 30 seconds swapping out uppers on the lowers I prefer at the range?
Maybe talk to your PTAC buddies and see if they can put something together. PSA backed PTAC .22lr upper would sell out quick. |

PSA backed PTAC .22lr upper would sell out quick. what i did was buy a ptac upper, 1/7 twist, and then buy the ptac bcg and cmmg conversion bolt kit. i now have a dedicated .22, that if things got real bad adn it HAD to happen, i could shoot 556 or 223 out of. its fun, its accurate, its cheap, its the cats meow man.. im telllin ya, do it. :) |
