| So I just got a MIAD and was attempting to take one of the backstraps off and the locking tab broke off. I know Magpul has great customer service I was just wondering if this had happened to anyone else. |

I haven't experienced this problem yet and I pull the backstrap off on a regular basis fiddling around. I did manage to lose the roll pin that comes with the kit, which was supposed to be my fall back for retention in the event I broke the tab.
I will say that the backstraps fit pretty snugly. None of them give me the impression they'll come off without conscious effort. If I were to break the tab, I imagine all I'd do is squeeze the strap some to tighten the fit and leave it alone. |
