Hello DD folks, I probably should have posted this in the DD industry forum: https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/Daniel-Defense-DD5-series-accuracy-308-specifically-/121-778471/ any input would be great! I think next I am going to try to get a lead-sled or something to completely isolate things and if they don't get better, send it back for you guys to look at. This is not a thread where I am complaining, but looking for a "yep, that's as good as it gets" or some alternative suggestions. Thanks! |

1.5 MOA with the ammo you were using is as good as I would expect. The DD5 is a nice rifle, but it's a chrome lined barrel and you're using mediocre ammo. You'll need to try FGMM, something comparable, or handloads if you hope to achieve better accuracy The internet sometimes gives people unrealistic accuracy expectations. Just my $.02 |
