I was lookiing at the website and am planning on buying my first AR. It will be built on top of a fab 10 reciever since I am in California. I am new to this and was wondering what the difference between the CAR kit, the M4 and the Expeditions kits are. I am looking for a short (16) barrel that I can mount some type of optics on and still have iron sites. I would also like to be able to mount a light on it as well.  I would also like it to be pre ban with a threaded barrel. Thanks for the info.

If you are wanting a pre ban kit, then you don't want an expedition, as they are post ban with an integral muzzle brake.
The basic difference between the standard CAR kit and the Mock M-4 kit is the cutout in front of the sight tower.

Do you have a photo of the M4 kit on your site? Is it the 14.5" barrel with the long flash/muzzle break or is it 16 as well?

The Mock M-4 is a 16" barrel.  If you need a picture of the Mock M-4 you can look at the upper on the barreled upper page.
