I have the tactical muzzle break on my elite comp . Will any of the other flash hidder or muzzle breaks cut down on noise ? Sorry if its a lame question , I've asked a few people and got mixed answers . Thanks for any help and tips .

I only ask this because everyone around you needs to have ear protection . I need better ear protection myself , cause my ears seem to be slightly ringing .

A2 flash hiders would be quieter for sure. You could also look at a linear comp that tends to project the noise down range more. Brakes are loud that is the trade off.

It's standard 1/2-28 thread, so literall any muzzle device made for the.223/5.56 AR platform should be fine.
As mentioned, brakes tends to be louder than flash suppressors due to the redirection of gasses.

I believe that the Smith Vortex Flash Hider is the best dedicated flash hider on the market...as a flash hider. Noise-wise, I don't personally notic emuch of a differenc ebetween the different hiders.
