Been really enjoying getting familiar with my new Super Yoter LRF. It's really fun being able to instantly ID opossums hiding at the top of a tree 150 yards away. I'm now trying get some ballistics data so I can set up a custom reticle in the Super Hogster app. Is there a known "height over bore axis" spec available for the SY LRF on a common AR build? I'm going to be putting it on a Mk12 Mod H that I haven't finished building yet, which uses an additional picatinny riser on top of the receiver, so I will have to account for that height as well. But I'm still wondering if Bering Optics or NGI has a known spec for the basic height over bore on say a M4 carbine or even just height above the top surface of the receiver's pic rail? Thanks! |

I would recommend using a calipers and measuring your exact setup but those two numbers should get you close depending on your setup. What riser are you using? Any pics? I use a 14 and MH25 on a Wilcox bridge on my helmet. When aiming the SY LRF, I noticed the mount/bridge bumps into the thermal. Maybe a riser would help?? |
