OK, I got the Otterbox case for my iPod Touch; is LaRue going to make a rail adaptor for this soon? Or is it a done deal, and I've missed it somehow?

Very nice; I was wondering if you had fabbed that up yourself, but I read your reply. I don't know where the original one came from... I didn't see it listed on the KAC website.

Time to start collecting some pieces, unless we get a positive sign from the Powers That Be.

Which otterbox case is that? Do they have one for the iphone 3g that is compatible?

Yes.

THIS is the URL for the KAC page on this arrangement, for those who haven't yet seen it.

Ah, thanks for that!

From that thread:

After seeing KAC's prototype M110 mount for an Apple iPhone or iTouch running KAC's ballistic software, I knew I must have one for my SR25. Problem one: It's a prototype and still being tested. Problem two: I have no idea how long that might take. Problem three: I am not the U.S. Army. Even when the mount comes out, I'll probably never be able to get one. Problem four: Patience is not even one of my top 45,908 virtues. What to do, what to do.

What say you, Mark LaRue?

I'll even loan you my iPod. We need a QD clip that interfaces with the Otterbox case, much like the KAC unit, as opposed to the Allen screws. A folding arrangement would be great, so the unit will fold flat against the rifle for transport and quick set-up.

I love the first mount in this thread... it looks like its using a AR hammer and hammer spring.

New pics from the KAC site... "coming soon" :

This one looks a bit different from the original one pictured on their Bullet Flight page. I hope LaRue does a QD mount like this though, and soon.
