can this be put on an ar 15 flat top with no iron sights as backup?

I'm building a 22rl pistol & want to keep it light

bought your 3-9 scope & mount to put on a 20" but was told non in stock until April.

so I am changing gears to a pistol

does this red dot need a riser to work or can it just sit on top of the flat top?

thanks

On a pistol you don't need a riser.

I mounted mine on a pistol I built. You have to get you eye down pretty low.
I bought the YHM 1/2" riser and it's perfect for me. Dot is centered and co witnesses with my flip ups.

Marsh,

Is your micro dot compatible with the Burris base?  Reason I ask is I am considering buying one of your micros to put on my Kel Tec PMR...KT just made a base and offers it for Burris and Doctor.

Is there a way to turn down the brightness?  I know it has an auto feature.

Mine is full on and is a bright green blob.

No manual adjustment. It should be a clear dot. Make sure you are looking through it not at it.
