So there's nothing different as far as functionality?  Is there a link somewhere where magpul states whats new on the MS3?

I think there are some videos from SHOT show where Travis Haley or Chris Costa was talking about the changes from MS2 to MS3.

I'm going to request for myself and on behalf of all those Larue fans that have purchased the UDE color scheme that a UDE MS3 sling be made available to match.  Thanks in advance Magpul - FarmGunM1

I think the metal parts are phosphate finished, the fastener metal loop and the alligator clip part of it look different.  Needs to come out so I can get one for my ACR

found the shot show vid

What im getting from this vid is that all the hardware is now made in house at magpul, and its going to be polymer which will make it lighter.  Not sure if thats better but i guess we'll see when its out.

If there is anything Magpul has proven it is that they make sure their gear will hold up under the harshest and most demanding conditions.  People were saying the same things about polymer magazines a few years ago, look where we are now.

It's hard to tell from the pic, does the latch that attaches to the ASAP have some sort of QR mechanism?

It may be hard to attach the MS2 to the ASAP quickly with one hand, but one thing I enjoy is being able to pull the release tab to get the rifle off in a hurry.

Yea one handed attaching with the MS2 is a cocksucker for me.  I like the QR but it was a pain in the ass
