How long does a person wait until they make contact with aa about outstanding orders?

That about sums it up. Around these parts I've read of people canceling orders for Beowulf uppers becuse they can be had from places like Midway and Cabelas. I'm going on 5 months for my magazine backorder. I'll be satisfied if I have them by the end of the year, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I've got a order in since Nov and one in Mar. If waited this long, I'll wait some more. The question still stands though. When do you start to worry that they have lost the order or will no longer get the order.
At what point does a person start to check on orders? |

I put an order in in January for an upper and some ammo. I haven't gotten it yet (patiently waiting), but they have been kind enough to send me an e-mail periodically to let me know I have not been forgotten. (Just in case they are reading this, I really do appreciate those.)
ETA: got the call today (10-18), upper ships on Monday  However, ammo still on back order.

We waited a long time for the 3 uppers that my dad ordered. We knew the wait time was long, so we were not worried about it. Some of the people that are complaining about waiting so long must not have been through any NFA wait times.
We are coming up on a year for the 3 lowers, we ordered them after Christmas last year, not in any crazy hurry. When we get the email then we will be happy. The uppers were worth the wait. |
