I think that the stippling on the miad grip is awesome how it is little magpul logos. I think you should try it out on the smooth sections of the pmags.

Well you want grips to be grippy and mags to be slippy...
If mags were too grippy, they may be harder to remove from tight pouches, especially with multi-mag bunjee pouches.

I did my own. All you need is a soldering iron and a little patience. The grip is amazing.
