for those that own the 16 inch version of the PredatAR 556, what sort of accuracy are you getting? cold and hot?

I have only shot groups with Rem umc 55 fmj. It was grouping from about 1 to 1.5 moa, which is pretty good for that ammo. Shot some Hornady 75 gn match this weekend on 200 yd steel... with a 3.5 acog it was boringly simple. Shot after shot on top of each other. I was worried about the barrel heating up after rapid strings, I'm not anymore. the barrel was smoking hot and it was still stacking shots on top of each other. I think unless your shooting the pred like a SAW, you won't notice a significant poa change. Get in line now... you won't regret it!  |
