I have a QD LT719 mount, mounted on an ARMS #18 scope rail, mouted on an M1A in 7.62x51.  I am noticing that, under recoil, the small crossbar under the LT719 is pushing its way between the rail tabs, deforming the cross bar of the LT719.  See below picture for more details.  I absolutely love all of the LaRue products, and would very much like to keep the set up I have.  Is this a problem that you already have a solution for, and what my options are from LaRue Tactical.  If I am SOL, just let me know, and I will find a solution elsewhere.
Do you have this problem with your LT-113 rails if one of your mounts were to be installed where the screw holes intercept the rail tabs?

I do have a proposed solution that you could manufacture, in the form of an insert tab (key) that could be placed inside of the rails to bridge the gaps in the 1913 rails.  See my sketch below.

the LT stuff is designed for MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rails

the ARMS rails despite what they claim don't meet the MIL-STD-1913 LINK (see figure 1 for rail profile).

you should be complaining to ARMS for making up their own standard

I had to go look at mine quick to see if they were Dicked up.  I am using the LT-123's on my ARMS 18 they have been mounted for over a year and probably about 500 rnds and they look fine.

Response from LaRue was that a rail with a channel would have issues, and that they have no fix to accomodate the ARMS mount.

Disappointing to say the least, but It is the response I expected, so I have no ill against LT.  And I will continue to l use the last of my Dillo Dust with glee.

Also, mounting LT rings on a LT-113 rail; where the screw holes intercept the rail tabs, is not an problem since there is enough meat on the rails to accomodate the LT rings.
