My buddy just took in an older sp1 slab side and it looks to never have been fired, I was woundering if it would be a worth while purchase. I know I have plans for a 9mm but its really really nice.
ETA it also was traded in with a aimpoint electronic mark 3 |

My first ever new AR-15 was a SP1 fourty one years ago, I had it for about thirteen years and enjoyed using it all those years. The only thing I didn't like about it is the lightweight profile barrel and if you held the handguards too much, the point of impact changes a little, so I just adapted by being careful not to use the sling and pull on the handguards. Any reason why you like a 9mm SBR instead of a 5.56 SBR? |

Any reason why you like a 9mm SBR instead of a 5.56 SBR? because 5.56 is not a very effective sbr round and 9mm will silence better, and it will be cheaper to shoot. If I dont buy this gun my buddy will probably put the gun in his colection. |
