mostly convinced the upcoming 1x6 is the one i want. im noticing the lack of shockproof in the description on your website. please explain what this means in relation to use and reliability.. what specific mechanical thing in a scope makes it shockproof?

It means it can take a beating. You can watch Dimitri's torture test videos to see what kind of damage these will just shrug off.

Also it's a 1-6 scope not a 1x6. There is variable zoom.

Yes same here, too many people mix up the - and x. Even at work all the time people will verbally mess up scope descriptions.
